My whole life I’ve loved plants. My grandfather worked for a farming company and in his spare time he modified roses to get obscure colors.
Whenever he would come and visit me, he would make me go on walks around my neighborhood and steal cuttings of plants, personally I was super embarrassed. But as I got older, I noticed myself doing the exact same thing.
My next and current step in life is studying Biological studies. It’s been so interesting learning about how Chemistry and Biology connect. Of course it has it’s ups and downs, Chemistry really does make you work hard, but the lab experiences have been worth all the tears.
After university my dream is to work in a Genetics lab with plants. But for now it’s just hours of studying !
